Do More 24 DE: Help ICHDE Find 58 New Donors for 58 Years of Service

Delaware is in an affordable housing crisis, and too many families cannot afford a safe, stable place to live.

In 2026, Interfaith Community Housing of Delaware (ICHDE) marks 58 years of service to our neighbors across our state. For nearly six decades, ICHDE has worked to revitalize neighborhoods and strengthen communities by creating and preserving affordable housing and supporting pathways to homeownership.

One simple goal for Do More 24 DE

This year, we are keeping our Do More 24 DE fundraiser simple and achievable:

58 donors giving $58 each.

That’s it. One clear goal that helps us grow our donor community and power our mission for the long term.

If you have never financially supported Interfaith before, this is the moment to join us. Your gift helps strengthen neighborhoods and expand access to affordable housing in Delaware.

When is Do More 24 DE?

Do More 24 DE is a 24-hour giving event running from 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 5 to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026.

During that time, we will be inviting new supporters to make their first gift and longtime supporters to help us spread the word.

When we reach 58 new donors, we do more than raise funds. We build a broader base of support so more Delawareans understand the crisis, the need, and the work required to keep families housed and communities strong.

That is why we are focusing on new donors this year. It is a powerful way for more people to step into the story and stand with families who need affordable homes.

How you can help

➡ Donate $58 during Do More 24 DE.

Visit Interfaith’s fundraiser page and make your gift during the 24-hour event.

➡ If you have already given, share the campaign

Forward our email, share a social post, or tell a friend: “Be one of the 58.”

We have made some fundraiser graphics that perfectly fit your Facebook and Instagram posts: click here to download them (11MB zip folder of five Facebook graphics and five Instagram graphics).

➡ Invite one person to join you

The fastest way to reach 58 new donors is one-to-one outreach. If you believe in affordable housing, invite someone you know to make their first gift.

Thank you for standing with Delaware families. Thank you for supporting Interfaith’s crucial work. Together, during what is arguably the most serious pressure on the nonprofit community to help house our neighbors in need, we can grow a stronger community of supporters. And that will directly help more families find the safety, stability, and opportunity that comes with an affordable place to call home.

➡ Come to the Do More 24 DE fundraiser event at Chancery Market

Do More 24 DE will officially start at Chancery Market, 1313 N Market Street, Wilmington, at 6PM on Thursday March 5, 2026.

Interfaith will be there, and we’ll be appearing on the official livestream at 8:10PM.

Come join us and have some fun while we fundraise for Delaware’s families in need!
