For two decades, the ICHDE HomeOwnership Center (HOC) has walked alongside Delaware families on the road to homeownership. Since opening in 2005 as Delaware’s first NeighborWorks America-chartered HomeOwnership Center, the HOC has served more than 17,000 clients with HUD-certified guidance, first-time homebuyer education, foreclosure prevention, and financial literacy, all offered in both English and Spanish.

On November 6, 2025, we’ll mark this 20-year milestone with an intimate, invitation-only gathering of key supporters and funders at ICHDE Headquarters. The evening centers the voices of HOC clients: first-hand stories of challenges faced, knowledge gained, keys received, and generational wealth begun. Every HOC client family's homeownership has been made possible by the steadfast support of our partners and donors.

Your one-time $500 donation helps cover the direct costs of this anniversary event so that we can focus the spotlight where it belongs: on the families whose lives and neighborhoods have been transformed. Your gift underwrites essentials like program materials, client participation, and community outreach that keep the HOC experience welcoming and effective for every household we serve.
